Continuous Improvement/Quality Specialist
Description:   NCTC is seeking a full-time, unlimited Continuous Improvement/Quality Specialist to develop and deliver innovative courses/workshops in continuous improvement for business and industry clientele and provide marketing for training programs related to continuous improvement and develop grants or contracts to pay for the delivery of these services to clients.
Qualifications:   Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree
• APICS certification
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (e.g., SAP)
Minimum Requirements:   Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Direct work experience (two years preferred) in the areas of continuous improvement, production and inventory management, Six Sigma, strategic planning, and workplace organization as applied in a manufacturing environment
• Training expertise, experience in teaching is preferred.
• Ability to develop training courses as a result of attending workshops with state of the art information.
• Project Management – ability to organize efficiently and effectively all work as it relates to job responsibilities
• Problem Solving – ability to solve complex problems
• Research Methods and Writing – ability to write and interpret scholarly work
• Strong communications skills, both written and oral
• Skills and educational background in marketing, statistics, and computer utilization

Director of Financial Aid
Description:   This position plans, organizes, and administers financial aid programs and the NCTC financial aid office. The director develops and implements financial aid policies and procedures that are fair and in compliance with federal and state regulations, including satisfactory academic progress. The director is responsible to administer the financial aid programs in a timely manner in order to enhance the college’s ability to recruit and retain eligible students. The director will be responsible to manage federal, state, and institutional reporting requirements and to communicate with federal and state offices regarding funding, audits, and program reviews.
Qualifications:   Preferred Qualifications
3-5 years experience in financial aid.
Experience of training in computer and integrated system applications is highly desirable.
Minimum Requirements:   Bachelor’s degree is required.
High level of managerial skills.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of financial aid rules and regulations.
Ability to identify and address problems
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Competence to conduct both long range and short range planning
Ability to formulate rules
Ability to provide leadership of a team
Computer competence

Director of Multi-Cultural Services
Description:   The Director of Multicultural Services is responsible for the recruitment, retention, and advisement of students at NCTC, in particular underrepresented student populations. This position is also responsible for the promotion of and cultural awareness on the campuses within the college by sponsoring and coordinating various activities. This position serves as an advisor and advocate for minority students and liaison for multicultural issues within the college communities. This position also serves as an Admission Representative for the college and Chair of the NCTC Diversity Committee.
Qualifications:   Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to those applicants with a Bachelor’s degree
Experience working in a higher education system or education system
Minimum Requirements:   Evidence of organizational skills
Evidence of excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be knowledgeable of underrepresented student education issues and concerns as well as knowledge of financial resources available to minority students
Must be able to provide evidence of being a team player
Must provide evidence of being an independent worker
Knowledge of computers

Respiratory Therapy Instructor
Description:   NCTC is seeking a full-time, temporary instructor to teach in all aspects of the Respiratory Therapy Technician program.

Master's Degree
Teaching Experience
Licensing:   Must possess or meet the established minimum qualifications of the Respiratory Therapy Technician license # 070903.

Bachelor or above degree in appropriate major and 4000 hours of occupational experience or
Associate degree or two year diploma (90 quarter credits) in appropriate field and 6000 hours of occupational experience or
One year diploma in appropriate field and 7000 hours of occupational experience or
Courses for credit or clock hours (1 quarter credit/20 hours or 1 semester credit/30 hours) with an appropriate title or prefix and occupational hours totaling 8000.
Current license/registration/certificate by accrediting agency.
